STAY DRIVEN VIDEO

My very first video for Stay Driven is finally here!

Back in April, Daniel had reached out to me to see if I was interested in collaborating on a video together. At first I was a little hesitant as I can get super shy on camera but I decided what the hell, life is too short to turn down cool opportunities and for me this year is all about trying new things, stepping out of my comfort zone and conquering my fears, so I agreed to meet up with him to brainstorm some ideas and I also got to meet Narikki who would be putting together the killer soundtrack for the video.

After coming up with a few rough ideas, we began filming in my home office. It was cool as I got to see how all the behind the scenes stuff worked and I realised just how much time and effort goes into making a video. A few weeks later we then met up at 2AM and began filming the driving shots across the Sydney Harbour Bridge with the help of Fatih. It was super late in the night or early in the morning however you want to call it and we were all pretty wrecked but excited at the same time. I couldn't wait to see how it would all come together.

The concept behind the video was that I would be up all night working on a blog post for my website and I suddenly get interrupted by all the notifications on my phone reminding me of all the things I had to do. Usually I'm the type who tends to get overwhelmed and stressed over just about everything but the one thing that helps ease the stress is getting out and driving. So as my phone lit up and I looked towards my computer, I read the words 'Stay Driven' thus sparking me stop what I was doing, and go for a drive to clear my head.

The video ends with me having my Zen time which is something I personally try to do each day as it allows me to switch off and reflect and reminds me to practice being mindful of my actions and to have an attitude of gratitude. Whenever I do this, it releases all my stress and allows me to stay focused and driven.

Whilst I honestly hate seeing myself on camera (I am my own worst critic) I am proud of myself for letting go and not worrying as much as I used to and for stepping outside of my comfort zone. Anyways, I really hope you guys like this video and I hope it inspires you to stay driven!

A huge thank you to Daniel and all who were involved in this project! Let me know what you think of it in the comments below! <3
