Storing My R34

I've been getting A LOT of questions in regards to what is happening with my R34.... so I thought I would give a quick update. As I am in the US, I sadly had to say goodbye to my R34, and put my car in storage.

But before I could put it in storage, I spent a few hours giving my car one last final clean.

Since I am a part of the Turtle Wax Shine Squad team this year along with some of my favourite automotive photographers... (oooh hey Courtney!) I get to try out some of their products.

I have always washed my car by hand (still can't believe I've had this thing for almost 5 years... that's a lottttttt of baths!) and take caring for my car very seriously. I've used various brands in the past, but none compare to the Turtle Wax products that I now use, which have resulted in making my car look so clean given its age.

The products I've been using lately are the M.A.X. Power car wash, which is not only very affordable, but it is super sudsy, and it surprisingly removes the toughest of dirt in just one wash. It also smells amazing too! I then use the Wax & Dry spray wax which helps to save drying time so I can get back on the road faster.

Since I drive my car every day, (at least I did up until I moved away to the US *sad face*) not only do I like to keep the body of my car shiny, but I also like keep my wheels shiny too! One of my all time favourite products is the above Tire Shine and I always keep a bottle in my car so I can spray my wheels before I take photos, or attend a car event. It's also handy to keep in the car in case I shoot someone else's car too + anything with black packaging instantly has my vote.

After I had finished giving my car one last thorough clean, it was time to do Dad's A45 AMG. Dad has actually been using Turtle Wax products on his cars and bikes for years and introduced me to their line when I first started getting into cars, although to be honest it wasn't until recently that I really started to fall in love with their products after being dissatisfied with other brands.

BTW his bike that he re-built is currently for sale! If anyone is interested, please let me know in the comments below or you can reach him on his FB.

Knowing that Turtle Wax have never failed to leave Dad's pride and joys in pristine condition over the years, it gave me the added reassurance that I could trust these products on my own car and know that it would leave it looking immaculate for when I return from the US.

I really wanted to ensure that for when I return, I'd be able to just hop in my car, take it for a long drive and have to confidence that it will still be nice and clean even though it's going to be sitting in storage for a while collecting dust. But even if it ends up needing one quick wash when I get back to Australia, the good thing about Turtle Wax is that all of their products are super quick and easy to use, which means it will be less time cleaning, and more time spent on the road staying driven!

I can't wait to get behind the wheel again.
