7 Places To Visit In Sydney

Today, I’m sharing with you 7 unmissable places to check out when visiting Sydney. Let me know if you end up visiting or are in need of more recommendations!

NORTH CURL CURL HEADLAND

Catch sunrise or sunset at the ‘Don’t Jump’ lookout at North Curl Curl. Park at the end of Molong Street and head towards the pool. You’ll then turn left towards the ocean and eventually find yourself at the lookout. It’s also a nice coastal walk if you then head towards Dee Why Beach!

CASTLE ROCK BEACH

My fav beach. It’s kind of hidden, and can be a treck to get down to, but an easy way to access this beach is by parking at Ogilvy Road then walking down. If you’re up for a good 5 hour scenic walk, then take the Manly to Spit walk then take a jump in the water at Castle Rock as it is along the way.

NORTH HEAD

Probably one of the best spots on the Northern Beaches to catch the sunset. North Head is located at the south end of Manly. Make sure you bring a rug and picnic basket full of goodies and your camera!

PALM BEACH

Take the trail up to the Lighthouse at Palm Beach, and stop by the Boat House for a bite after. This beach is commonly known as ‘Summer Bay’ from the show Home and Away.

LONG REEF HEADLAND

Another good spot for either sunrise or sunset. Long Reef Headland is situated a top of an old volcano and offers one of the best coastline views of the Northern Beaches and Central Coast.

TURIMETTA BEACH

Turimetta Beach on the Northern Beaches is a favourite among fellow landscape photographers and you can see why. This is a must if you want to get some nice photos.

SYDNEY CITY

Explore Barangaroo, climb the Harbour Bridge, check out the Opera House and visit the Museum of Contemporary Art. The city has so much to offer and if you’re travelling from Manly, be sure to hop on the fast ferry to get a different perspective of the city and surrounds.
