GTR Festival
With a forecast of rain predicted to hit Sydney all day long, I contemplated for a second whether it was worth the hour long drive out to Sydney Dragway for the first ever GTR Festival hosted by Motive DVD.
But how could you even contemplate an event celebrating all things GTR...
I grabbed my camera, braved the wet weathers and made my way out to the track in my R34. As I pulled into the venue, with an incredibly dirty car, (sorry to those who saw it in that state) the skies just so happened to clear up which meant my gear could stay dry and the scheduled drag racing activities could go ahead. Along with the drags, the event also included a display area for each GTR model with multiple show and shine categories and trophies to be won.
I strangely enough didn't take too many photos (I usually take way too many) but enjoy the few cars that caught my attention. I'm already looking forward to next years event which will surely be bigger and better, and who know's maybe I'll have something special to put on display...
