LA EATS: Babette's
After Lambo Newport this morning, Trevor and I went and got brunch at Babette's in Newport Beach.
I actually stumbled across the restaurant the day before since it's just down the road from our apartment and I saw how good the food and venue looked, so I made sure we checked it out pronto.
We got the crisp goat cheese dumpling salad, sweet potato fries with a yummy sundried sauce tomato and the farmhouse breakfast sandwich which was so f'ing gooooooood!
We sat up at the bar and also got two watermelon and orange mimosa's to accompany our dishes.
When I stalked their IG the night before, their dumpling salad really caught my eye as it's something that I have never had and was curious to try, and as expected, it tasted just as good as it looked. It was generously drenched with a delicious lemon vinaigrette and topped with chopped almonds. And the dumplings were soooo crispy mmmmmm give me more!
The interior fit out was bursting with natural light, modern fixtures and had a great ambiance making it a nice environment to dine in. We're definitely going to go back for dinner soon!
Or maybe we will go back again tomorrow because that sammich was sooooooooooooooooooooo good! Like 10/10 would smash again.
After brunch we went and checked out Ilusso where we saw some pretty crazy hyper cars, so stay tuned for the next post where I'll share all the photos we got :)
