LA EATS: Nobu

After Trevor and I finished our Malibu Wine Safari adventure, we headed down to Nobu on Malibu Beach.

Being sushi lovers, both Trevor and I had been dreaming of going to Nobu ever since we first met, and so for his birthday I decided to take him there.

We arrived just as the sun was setting, and was lucky enough to score a lounge and table outside by the water.

We were so hungry after all the running around at the safari, so we didn't mess around when it came to ordering.

First up we got the spicy tuna (Trevor's fav) which we both shared.

Then we got the sashimi salad and shrimp, the mini wagyu beef taco and a plate of fresh sushi. The flavours from each dish were so good, and beautifully presented.

As expected, we paid a bomb when the bill came, but it was worth every cent and it was a nice way to end our week long road trip as well as celebrating Trevor's birthday.

I think next time we'll check out the newly opened Nobu in Newport Beach!
